3. In words
This is part two of a multimedia Fnnish language course. It comes with 2 CDs. One has the dialogues of the book in standard Finnish, the other has the same dialogues in colloquial Finnish. All the texts in the book have both versions written down. In the first book of this series, I wasn't sure if it was such a good idea to confuse people with the difference between colloquial and standard Finnish, but in this book it doesn't bother that much. Once you have the basic knowledge, it could indeed be a good idea to learn both versions at once.
Every chapter consists of a few dialogues , with the vocabulary that comes with it in a list, a "good to know"-section in which you can read about Finnish customs and manners in English, a grammar part, and exercises and the right answers to them. The grammar doesn't really get explained good enough, and the exercises are limited.
