Placenames in the location cases
The general rule is to add -ssa behind placesnames when you mean "in".
There are some places though that come with the -lla ending. Commonly, these are the places that end in a nature-word, like "järvi" (lake), "joki" (river), "lampi" (pond), "vesi" (water), "virta" (stream), "lahti" (gulf), "mäki" (hill), "niemi" (cape), "salmi" (strait) or "koski" (rapids).
